Just to let u know a little bit about us…
I have been making beats for over 18 years since I was 14 years old (cracked fl studio lol). I started out as Hiphop producer dreaming of one day making beats like Kanye and Timbaland.
Being from a Guyanese household, my plan was to add my caribbean touch to it. All that Beenie, Buju, Kartel, Beres and Sanchez was going to shape my sound. I didn’t know I would be thrown into the genre completely but anyway…
Fast forward I began to enter, and developed my skills in The Battle of the Beatmakers competition. the famous competition that brought to the world producers like Boi 1da, Wonda Girl, T-Minus and many other grammy level industry producers.
I spent years experimenting as an artist having some local success as well as producing, recording and engineering many other artists until I made my return to the Beat Battles as a duo.
We dominated the online battles during the pandemic winning 3 times and appearing in the finals 5 times (everytime we entered). Unfortunately the group thing didn’t work out and I went back to being solo continuing to collaborate with all the great people I met along the way including some of my fiercest competition in the battles
Around this time I began working with a very talented Dancehall Artist which forced me to learn to create the music that was such a big part of my childhood. He began passing my riddims to his people in Jamaica. This started the second and best half of my career.
I have now worked with so many dope artists and I am amazed at the work ethic and talent I am seeing. Working with artists from Jamaica to Nigeria, South Africa, Canada, UK, the US, you guys all inspire me and keep me going those times when it’s tough to keep chasing the dream.
